The Mach.General > Bench page in the Catalog/Drawing Properties defines the settings for benchtop supports. Fittings placed at the top of backs and/or ends to support the benchtop (used in FLOOR cabinets only).

 

 

Used in Backs

When used in backs, the quantity (drop list) can either be fixed at:

• 0 (zero) - to turn off the machining
• 1 (one) - to allow a single centralised support. The Dist From Top of Back edit box will be made available.
• Multi - to allow the width to determine the quantity, based on the Maximum Spacing (minimum used is two). These are evenly spaced between the Ends, starting at the given Distance.

 

Use in Chamfered Backs

 

A checkbox is available to turn the bench supports on/off for chamfered backs.

 

Used in Ends

When used in the ends the quantity can be any fixed (whole number) value. These are evenly spaced, front to back, starting at the given Distance.
