The Mach.General > Cutout page in the Catalog/Drawing Properties defines cutouts used in various places.
Cutouts are used in various places and affect various components, such as :-
Ends can be cut out to accommodate sinks. A rectangular cutout is placed at the top of the Ends and is determined by the selections made here.
The rectangle starts at the chosen given distance from the front and ends at the chosen distance from the back, and is of the chosen depth.
Cabinet level options allow the user to select which cabinets the ends are cut out (Floor cabinets only). Only one end cutout (sink or cooktop) allowed per cabinet.

The bottoms of cabinets which contain ovens can have a hole cut out for venting purposes. The size and position of the hole is determined by these settings.

Cabinet level options allow the user to select which cabinets the bottoms are cutout of (only available in cabinets containing an oven).
Wine racks are made by interlocking the shelves and vertical dividers. The setting here defines how much wider the cutouts for the interlocking should be, over and above the thickness of the material.
When cabinet Ends are extended to the floor, this option determines whether a cutout should be provided for the front kickboard. The option is repeated at Cabinet level with a choice of right and left End.
If selected, the width of the notch can be made larger than the diameter of the Border tool in the vertical direction by entering a measurement in the Oversize edit box.
