    Trim Price Tables
    In This Topic

Trim Libraries are optionally installed CabMaster™ libraries containing manufacturer specific 'Trim' items such as Posts, Corbels etc. These can be priced and include additional Hardware and Labour just like other CabMaster™ elements. The pricing, hardware and labour is held in tables that are maintain through the Trim Library Manager interface.

The Trim Library Manager can be launched from the Pricing > Materials/Hardware page of the Catalog/Drawing Properties.

Pricing > Material/Hardware page  -  Click to Expand

Pricing > Material/Hardware page  -  Click to Expand

Extra Notes on Catalog and Tables

Trim Library catalogs are locked and cannot be updated by users, therefore any associated pricing is held in external tables.

Several pricing tables can be associated with each library and used as appropriate. These files also hold Hardware and Labour selections that can accompany each item in the library.

    Trim Library Manager Interface

The initial dialog allows the selection of the Library Catalog to Manage and its Price Table to be managed by using the drop list.

    Set Price Table

There is an option to Set the selected price table as the one currently being used for any drawing.

This selection affects all drawings opened whilst it is selected.

    Save as

The Save As button gives the user an opportunity to copy the current price table and save it under another name, then opens it for editing.

    Edit Pricing Table

The Edit button opens the price table edit page.

The three buttons across the top of the properties dialog allow you to do the following...

    Load & Save

Add in any items from the distributed catalog list that are not in the current table (with a zero price).

    Edit

Open the table in Table Editor

If you continue, the table will open but as per the warning message, this is for advanced users only.

Ensure that you do not delete the row labelled blank.

    Set Price Table

This is the same as the Set button on the initial dialog i.e. it sets the selected price table as the one currently being used for any drawing and affects all drawings opened whilst it is selected..

    Manage Items

This page allows each entry to be priced along with any additional Hardware or Labour.

Make sure the Save button is used to lock in any updates.
