    A Quick Access Sidebar can be enabled which allows you to make minor modifications quickly to all cabinets and other items on the plan without opening the cabinet properties. 

    In this topic we will discuss the Catalog/Drawing Properties where the content of the sidebar can be set on the Display > SideBar Layout page and the Display > SideBar Customisation page> where you can customise the colours of the sidebar buttons.

    Setting Up your Sidebar

    Sidebar Layout : Slots

    On the Display > SideBar Layout page set up the four (4) available Sidebar Slots.

    Each of these slots can show one of eight (8) different Modules as listed below.

    Use the drop lists to select the Module to be viewed in each slot. See topic on Properties Sidebar.

    Sidebar Customisation : Colours and Reports

    On the Display > SideBar Customisation page you can edit and customise the colours of the sidebar and.

    Cabinet Mover Colour

    To change the colour of the move buttons press the relevant Page/Cabinet Move Button Colour option.

    This will launch a colour picker dialog, select a colour and click OK.

    A preview of the newly selected colour will display on the right. As shown in the above example, the sidebar Cabinet Move buttons will be displayed as red and the sidebar Page Move buttons will be displayed in blue.

     

    Reports

    The report module allows to quickly run your selection of frequently accessed reports by pressing any of the four (4) customised buttons.

    To customise, simply click on the required button. This will open up a browser to the Report folder where you can identify and select the report required.

    After selection the required reports will be displayed on the button and can be changed for each job if required.

    This will display in the Properties Sidebar as shown, which can be run for either the Cabinet or the Drawing.

    When the required Reports button is pushed i.e. Door List.rdl, the report with a list of doors will be created.
