    Slope Cabinet Ends
    In This Topic

One way to slope cabinets ends from front to back is to use the settings on the Labour & Construction > Ends+ page.

In this topic we will slope the ends on a Tall Universal.

    Step 1

On the Labour & Construction >Top/Bottom page, untick the Top check box to remove the cabinet top.

You will need to manually machine a top for the cabinet, as the top will not slope.

    Step 2

On the Labour & Construction > Ends+ page...

    • Set the Vertical for both Left and Right Ends to a negative slope height value
      • In this example, we have set both to -500mm
    • Set the V Offset to the same value as Vertical, except that this needs to be a positive value.
      • In this example, we have set both to 500mm
    • Set the Horizontal to 2mm larger than the cabinet depth
      • In this example, the cabinet Depth on the Cabinet Details > Settings page is 580mm (click on image)
      • Therefore the Horizontal is set to 582mm for both.
Depth of Cabinet is 580mm  -  Click to view Cabinet Settings

Depth of Cabinet is 580mm  -  Click to view Cabinet Settings

    Step 3

In the example above, on the Labour & ConstructionBack page we have removed/unticked the Back

However, you may want to adjust the height of the back to suit i.e. same as above Vertical value (click on image to view example).

Click to view adjustment to Back height
