    Pocket Door Systems in Tall Cabinets

    Tall cabinets allow Pocket Door systems to be used with optional external panels.

    An example of this is the Nover Salice "Exedra" system with its machining included, as shown below.

    Exedra is a pocket door system featuring a cam-assisted sliding mechanism, complemented by a linear damping system. This combination ensures smooth and controlled movement as the door opens and closes. For more information on this system, email salicesupport@nover.com.au

     

    Enable Use Pocket Doors checkbox and Select Pocket System from the drop list.

    Clicking on the Configure button opens the following properties sheet

     

    Dimensions

    Width, Height and Depth (LPS)  of Main Cabinet

    FT : Height of the Kickboard

    LPU : Usable structure depth (length of mechanism) - Must be between 501mm and 700mm.

    TH (Door Height) and TL (Door Width) are automatically calculated and are informational only.

    Doors & Panels

    In this example images, we have a Tall Standard cabinet and ...

    • added a Pocket Door on the Left of the main cabinet;
    • added an External Panel and extended the Panel to Floor and ticked Flush with Door;
    • the Gap Between the Carcass and the Panel is 55mm.
