The Cabinet Property sheet provides the ability to customise individual cabinets, thereby overriding Catalog/Drawing Property defaults which will immediately apply any changes you make to the selected cabinet/object, and the only way to close them is to use the close
button.
Cabinets have a property inspector which is divided into 'Categories' (broken up into logical groups) which contains 'Pages' with related options. For example, a reference to the Cabinet Details > General Settings page is where...
- the Category is Cabinet Details (see image below);
and- the related property Page is General Settings.
This section cannot cover all available options as categories are dependent on the level of software used (i.e. only Machining Premium software will allow 'Cabinet Machining'). Pages and related options are dependent on the type of cabinet/item (e.g. not all cabinets have a sink like the one shown below).
For more on specific cabinets, see section on Cabinet Design or Universals.
After placement i.e. when cabinet/object is already placed on drawing or list.
use the right click menu command 'Format...' or double click on placed cabinet/object.
Property sheets are displayed with a light grey background, as shown, and a preview on the cabinet/item will automatically update as option changes are made.
Before placement i.e. customise a selected cabinet before adding to drawing or list.
Property sheets are displayed with a blue background, as shown.
A Quick Access Sidebar can be enabled which allows you to make minor modifications quickly to all cabinets and other items on the plan without opening the cabinet properties.
