At Cabinet level, the Labour & Construction > Dust Panels page provides options to set the dimensions and position of dust panels between individual drawers. The construction type can be controlled on the Cabinet Machining > Drw Adj page.
Drawing defaults are set on the Construction Standard > Drawer Dust Panels page.
These options on this page DO NOT turn the panels on/off. They just allow them to be resized if they exist. To turn ON/OFF the panels themselves use the Cabinet Details > Drawers page.
The default Width for dust panels is Full Depth but this can be overridden by ticking the As Rail check box. The rail Width can also be amended using the applicable edit box.
Width
Depending on the quantity of drawers selected, As Rail and Width can be set individually i.e. you can set some dust panels as full depth and others as a rail by checking the applicable drawer number and, if required, amending the width.
If you change your mind, the All Same button will revert settings back to the initial setting on this page. The Reset button will revert all settings back to the Drawing default.
Positioned in Cabinet
When ‘As Rail’, the position can be set individually at either the front or back of the cabinet.
At Cabinet level there an added option to set the Position of the dust panel and Offset individually or make All Same in the same way as dimensions discussed above. The Reset button will revert all settings back to Below Drawer Box (+Clearance).
The above example shows different positions, using the radio buttons, and offsets designated for each drawer (2 to 4) . These are :-
A = Below Drawer Box (+ Clearance)
B = Above Bottom of Drawer Front
C = Below Top of Drawer Front Beneath
Example of each Position
The dust panel is shown here As Rail in each available position.
The construction type can be controlled on the Cabinet Machining > Drw Adj page using the Dust Panel Machining drop list, as shown.
The Construction type Drawing defaults are set on the Mach. General > Const page.
