The Mach.Tongue > Rail/Mullion page of the Catalog/Drawing Properties provides the positioning of the groove (or tongue) used on Rail/Mullions.
The Gap on one side of Rail Tongues only option allows Allows the tongue to be one sided – usually something done on narrow parts to ensure passage through the edge banding machine (similar to setting in Back section).
Example
The Always continue back rail grooves to back option makes the groove terminate at the back of the End – back rail only. (similar to setting in Back section)
Gap between the tongue and the end of the rail.
The Back rail automatically includes a tongue to match a groove in the back, when the back rail is present and flat. There is also the ability to use Tongue and Groove with the tongue on the Back and groove on the rail. It uses the Top settings to do this.
