The Hinge Editor provides the ability to create, edit and delete hinges used in your job/drawing and can be accessed from the Catalog/Drawing Properties and located on either the :-

• Pricing > Materials/Hardware page

The Hinge Editor allows you to create new and modify existing Hinge and Hinge plate tables, which is covered in this topic - see also Pricing Hinges.

Modify

Hinge

Modify an existing Hinge by selecting from the:-

• relevant Table from the drop list e.g. Blum Hinges;
• Type drop list select Hinge;
• Hinge drop list select the required hinge e.g. 107deg BLUM Overlay Inserta

Make changes as required...

• Hover over edit boxes on the graphical representation for description of dimension.

After making changes, ensure you hit the 'Save' button before existing the property box.

Hinge Plate

Modify an existing Hinge Plate by selecting from the:-

• relevant Table from the drop list e.g. Blum Hinges;
• Type drop list select Hinge Plate;
• Hinge Plate drop list select the required hinge e.g. BLUM Mounting Plate Inserta

Make changes as required...

• Hover over edit boxes on the graphical representation for description of dimension.

After making changes, ensure you hit the Save button before existing the property box.

Create New

To create a new Hinge and/or Hinge Plate

• click on the New button
  • the following Properties dialog will allow you to create a new Name e.g. "My NEW Hinge Name"

 

• The new Hinge/Hinge Plate Properties will be displayed, as per below, with 0mm dimensions
  • Hover over edit boxes on the graphical representation for description and type in required dimensions.
• After making changes, ensure you hit the Save button before existing the property box.
