Sometimes the hinge plate holes on the End Left and End Right of Universal cabinets go missing when two parts get within 1mm of each other. This topic discusses the reasons, which are connected to the Donor Acceptor mechanism.

If the values on the Door Gaps Left/Right on the Construction Standard > Doors/Fronts page of the Drawing Properties are greater than 1mm, they will put the donor hole out of range with the next setting being used.

In the Mach.General > Hinge page of the Drawing Properties, there is a Vert and Horiz option for Hold hinge position when door overhangs. With these switched off, particularly the Horiz check box, it will allow the machining of the hinge to move with the Door Gaps discussed above, so if they get outside the 1mm distance, they will no longer donate to the Ends of the cabinet.
